Stainless steel plaques are all made to
order and to the size required. The plaques
can be supplied cut to an oval shape as well
as the traditional rectangle and square,
they are usually ink filled in black however
when a company logo is required a colour
fill can be used to match RAL colours BS
colours or Pantone colours.
A wide
choice of fonts can be used on stainless
steel plaques. When a substantial amount of
text is required it is better to use a
standard Arial or Helvetica font for
legibility.
Stainless
steel plaques are chemically etched and this
process enables very fine detail to be
achieved. This
enables the production of crests, coats of
arms, school branding or industry body logos
to be included on a plaque which would not
be possible with traditional engraving.
Stainless
steel etched plaques are supplied in 316
marine grade as standard which is a higher
grade than 304 and is suitable for marine
environments and coastal areas.
