Shop Front Sign – La Sweet Fashion

La Sweet Fashion layout for shop front sign.

The size of the sign will be 3000mm x 600mm in 3mm thick opal acrylic with pink and black vinyl applied. The existing old sign panel was delivered to us for cleaning and re-using. It is not cheaper than a new panel but it does save landfill. Re using something is the perfect way to recycle.

The font shown on the layout is Edwardian Script, The small text is Gill Sans font. We made the Edwardian Script bolder than the original version as the font was very thin. The customers gave us their business card as a guide to the layout required for us to work on.

To make the sign we shall cover the acrylic in a sheet of pink and then we will apply a sheet of black with the letters cut out.

The customer fitted to fit it into an existing illuminated box.

Shop Front Sign – Osteopathic Practice

broadwater-osteopathic-practice1-300x211A comment from our customer at Broadwater Osteopathic Clinic. “My new sign from Arro signs is fabulous – A good price and delivered promptly.  The office staff were very friendly and helpful and the sections of the frame were clearly marked – making it easy for DIY installation.”
As it happens – a sheet of instructions as to which bits to fit first and that the sign should be slid in from the end with the short screws would have been a nice touch.
The lovely lady I spoke to about installation before the sign arrived was very helpful in describing this to me verbally and we had no problems, but for the cost of a piece of paper I think you could impress customers even more and get good PR.
A brief description of our business:
The Broadwater Osteopathic Practice is one of the busiest and longest established clinics in the area.  We have six osteopaths, four massage therapists and a chiropodist – so are able to after a fully comprehensive “body repair and maintenance” service to the local populace.  Whilst the premises are modest all of the rooms are in full use from 8.30am to 8.00pm six days a week.  It is important to us that visitors are impressed by our cleanliness and efficiency.  We all know how important first impressions are, so keeping the outside of the premises inviting and attractive is important to us – and good signage is part of this.  Being sited on the corner of a busy roundabout it was crucial that the sign was big enough and clear enough for passing drivers to make note of our name (the absence of capital letters was deliberate to match our “online style”).
Broadwater Osteopathic Practice.  www.bop.uk.netThe sign was made from 5mm thick plastic, vinyl faced in blue with white vinyl lettering. The sign was made to fit into a new aluminium frame. It was supplied for DIY fitting for the customer who employed a local builder to fix for them. The sign measured 16′ x 2′. The font used was called Avante Garde.
